QA Engineer (AI-Native)
We are looking for a QA Engineer who combines strong manual and automation testing skills with AI-assisted workflows. You will own quality for client-facing web and mobile products, using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and AI-powered test generation to write test plans, automate regression suites, and catch issues faster. This role follows US business timings and includes night-shift collaboration — please apply only if you are comfortable working these hours.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end quality for web and mobile releases: test planning, execution, and sign-off
- Build and maintain automated test suites for mobile (iOS/Android) and API layers
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to generate test cases, test data, and automation scripts faster
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and release testing across devices
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports and verify fixes with the engineering team
- Collaborate with developers and product during US time zones (night shift for India-based candidates)
- Track quality metrics and continuously improve the testing process with AI-assisted analysis
- Stay current with QA tooling, mobile testing frameworks, and AI testing trends
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of professional QA experience across mobile and web applications
- Hands-on experience with test automation (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, Playwright, or similar)
- Strong understanding of QA processes: test plans, regression suites, release checklists
- Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) for test generation and analysis
- Experience testing REST APIs (Postman or similar) and reading logs to isolate issues
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and running automated tests in them
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
- Comfortable and available to work US timings, including night shift hours when collaborating with US clients and team members
- Clear understanding that this is not a standard 9–5 India daytime role — overlap with US Eastern/Pacific hours is required
